of gamelans and balinese theatre.
one thing bad about writing my paper on Balinese gamelan ensembles is that i feel like visiting Bali. *mopes* reminds me of the weird wind instruments that Mich bought back from Bali for the guys. i wonder what they are. anyway, i still have the bracelet from Bali. =D
why must we have wars?why must people kill?why must we have genocides?is this all that humanity has come to?photos of the serb-bosnian conflict.the word "conflict" can barely illustrate the enormity of this war.
A Muslim begs for his life as he is taken prisoner by Serb fighters in the first battle of the Bosnian war (Bilijenia 1992).

Bosnian soldier at funeral (Tuzla 1992).

Kid at Dad's funeral (Croatia 1991).
i've been constantly wondering whether the Muslim in the first picture survived.
in fact, are all the people in the photos still alive today?why must there be wars?

i can't help objecting, even though i know that your happiness should be our priority. but yet we don't think it's right. if the guy's really as good as you say he is, shouldn't he not rush you into anything? the woman i know definitely won't. he's not even WORTH the respect if he's rushing you. i don't like the fact that he falls for you just because you're pretty, and then ignores us all but only focuses his attention on you. i think it's superficial, and i think it's rude. i don't think he should be asking you to enter yet another relationship barely after you've surfaced from a breakup. if he doesn't know about that, then why are you with him in the first place? you guys barely know each other, and you say it's "different". even if he doesn't know about your recent breakup, shouldn't he give it more time and get to know you better? is there a need to rush into anything at all?
i'm saying all these because we're your closest friends, and we don't want to see you leaping into something without considering the consequences. we don't want to sway your decision either, but we want you to know how we feel. in case it's not obvious enough, i don't have a good impression of your guy.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHH HE VIEWED MY PROFILE IN FRIENDSTER!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHH!!!! *scrubs my friendster clean* GO AWAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this time of the day tomorrow,
i'd be happily snoozing in bed.
i'd have made it through the SEA lecture (hopefully without dozing off).
i'd have finished the stinking EU simulation and the OL presentation.
i'd have smoked through the JS tutorial without preparing anything.
i'd have gotten a nice new dress.
i'd have the next day all at home.
i'd be able to start on my LAST assignment of this term due next Friday.
i'd be able to watch Ch 35.
i'd be able to play Spider Solitaire without feeling too guilty.
this time of the day tomorrow, COME QUICK!!!

how on earth am i supposed to write an analysis on two films in 1000 words??
and bummerrrrr, i've finished reading the Enid Blyton books.
random photos in a random post inspired by a random DUCK who likes to post random entries on his random blog.

that's the random duck's keychain. it used to have 2 very normal feet and 2 very normal arms, but due to the random duck's random violence, there's only one normal foot left. so i set about trying to solve the problem......randomly of course.

my poor stuffed toys hanging on a bamboo stick to dry, clipped by the feet and the ears. but no worries, they're back on my bed now. =D

and another
Bass Player magazine from Dad!
i got the whole of Enid Blyton's
Enchanted Wood/Faraway Tree series! =DDD
too bad there are only three books.
next on the list once i get my allowance NEXT month:
St. Clare's!
$30 for the whole series is a good buy.
then i'll slowly start collecting
The Famous Five.
$9 a book..sheesh.
Ma gave them all away to make space in our new home when we shifted house, but now i'm buying all of them back. wakaka. sorry Ma!
